Bobbi Sloan, RN-BSN, CRHCP

Position: Member at Large

Skyline Medical Clinic | 212 Skyline Drive NE, White Salmon, WA  98672

For Bobbi Sloan, nursing has come full circle. What began as a volunteer role as a Candy Striper in a South Florida community hospital grew into a lifelong calling—one where, as she says, “I get as much as I give.”

Bobbi became a registered nurse in 1988 and has spent her career exploring the depth and diversity of the nursing profession. Her clinical experience spans Medical-Surgical, Cardiac and Critical Care, Ophthalmology (both clinical and surgical), Outpatient Ambulatory, and Hospice care. In 2016, she returned to school to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, reaffirming her commitment to lifelong learning and professional excellence.

Over the past two decades, Bobbi has served in a range of clinical leadership roles, where she’s found purpose in supporting teams and shaping patient-centered care. Five years ago, she relocated from Portland, Oregon to the Columbia River Gorge in Washington and joined Skyline Health as manager of its rural health clinic. There, she discovered that while rural and urban patients often share similar health needs, the pathways to care can differ dramatically. This realization deepened her advocacy for rural healthcare access and equity.

Bobbi is a passionate champion for community health and believes in leveraging both personal and professional experience to make a difference.

Outside of work, Bobbi lives off-grid with her husband of 35 years on their Mt. Adams homestead—a converted barn turned sanctuary for rescued animals. She enjoys horseback riding, tree climbing, kayaking, gardening, and long walks in the woods with her four-legged family.
